Richie Reid (born 1957) is a retired Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Ballyhale Shamrocks and with the Kilkenny senior inter-county team in the 1970s and 1980s. In February 1982 he moved to Dublin for work and played for Faughs and Dublin, winning a further two county championship titles in 1986 and as captain in 1987.
He continued to compete at lower levels only retired from hurling at age 47.[1]
